The Dangers of Cats Being Stuck in Trees

Dehydration and Starvation. Cats require constant access to food and water to stay healthy.

Dehydration

Cats start to show signs of dehydration after 24 hours without water. Most cats will not survive more than 3-4 days without water.

Kidney Failure

Kidney failure in cats can happen if they are overheating in hot weather or become dehydrated.

Rehoming

If a cat has not been claimed at the time of rescue. We will take care of the cat for up to 30 days. Giving the owner time to come forward and claim the cat. When this doesn't happen, we will then actively begin rehoming the cat to a family.

In the case that a cat is feral. We will trap, neuter, spay, and release the animal where it was found.
